Advanced Scientific Imaging

High-dynamic-range photometry and spectral analysis of the solar corona.

چکیده

Designed for veteran astrophotographers and academic researchers, this seminar moves beyond aesthetic documentation into the realm of quantitative data acquisition. Participants will learn to produce calibration-grade imagery suitable for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

واحدهای پژوهشی

01

Multi-Wavelength Acquisition

Simultaneous capture protocols for H-Alpha, Calcium-K, and White Light spectrums using narrowband interferometers.

02

HDR Compositing Theory

mathematical frameworks for blending 14+ stops of dynamic range to resolve both the inner chromosphere and outer coronal streamers.

03

Flash Spectrum Spectroscopy

Using diffraction gratings to capture the chromospheric flash spectrum during second and third contacts.

04

Scientific Reporting

Formatting image data for FITS standardization and submitting observations to the International Astronomical Union (IAU).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Portfolio submission required (min. 2 previous solar eclipses)
  • Proficiency in PixInsight or nebulosity processing pipelines
  • Understanding of flat-fielding and bias frame calibration
  • Ownership of equatorial tracking mount (German or Harmonic)
